As a boy, in class in public school, each morning was started with a reading of the Bible.
In Jr. High & High School the main problem was smoking in the boys room.
If a problem should arise it was dealt with quickly and if necessary, physically.
There was usually always someone at home like "MOM."
Discipline and respect was taught in the home
Girls were still playing Jacks and Hopscotch in Jr. High.
Boys were still playing marbles in high school.
And guess what, we even took our rifles and shotguns to school in the mornings for NRA class after school.
Everything is reversed now and we, as a society, are reaping the result.
