WHO: Cell phone use can increase possible cancer risk

(CNN) -- Radiation from cell phones can possibly cause cancer, according to the World Health Organization. The agency now lists mobile phone use in the same "carcinogenic hazard" category as lead, engine exhaust and chloroform.
Before its announcement Tuesday, WHO had assured consumers that no adverse health effects had been established.
A team of 31 scientists from 14 countries, including the United States, made the decision after reviewing peer-reviewed studies on cell phone safety. The team found enough evidence to categorize personal exposure as "possibly carcinogenic to humans."
What that means is that right now there haven't been enough long-term studies conducted to make a clear conclusion if radiation from cell phones are safe, but there is enough data showing a possible connection that consumers should be alerted.

"The biggest problem we have is that we know most environmental factors take several decades of exposure before we really see the consequences," said Dr. Keith Black, chairman of neurology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
The type of radiation coming out of a cell phone is called non-ionizing. It is not like an X-ray, but more like a very low-powered microwave oven.
"What microwave radiation does in most simplistic terms is similar to what happens to food in microwaves, essentially cooking the brain. So in addition to leading to a development of cancer and tumors, there could be a whole host of other effects like cognitive memory function, since the memory temporal lobes are where we hold our cell phones."
The voices urging caution to consumers have gotten louder in recent years.
The European Environmental Agency has pushed for more studies, saying cell phones could be as big a public health risk as smoking, asbestos and leaded gasoline. The head of a prominent cancer-research institute at the University of Pittsburgh sent a memo to all employees urging them to limit cell phone use because of a possible risk of cancer.
"When you look at cancer development -- particularly brain cancer -- it takes a long time to develop.I think it is a good idea to give the public some sort of warning that long-term exposure to radiation from your cell phone could possibly cause cancer," said Dr. Henry Lai, research professor in bioengineering at University of Washington who has studied radiation for over 30 years.
Results from the largest international study on cell phones and cancer was released in 2010. It showed participants in the study who used a cell phones for 10 years or more had doubled the rate of brain glioma, a type of tumor. To date, there have been no long-term studies on the effects of cell phone usage among children.
"Childrens' skulls and scalps are thinner. So the radiation can penetrate deeper into the brain of children and young adults. Their cells are dividing faster rate, so the impact of radiation can be much larger." said Black of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Manufacturers of many popular cell phones already warn consumers to keep their device away from their body.
The Apple iPhone 4 safety manual says for users' radiation exposure to not exceed FCC guidelines, "When using iPhone near your body for voice calls or for wireless data transmission over a cellular network, keep iPhone at least 15 mm (5/8 inch) away from the body."
Blackberry Bold advises users to, "keep the BlackBerry device at least 0.98 in. (25 mm) from your body when the BlackBerry device is transmitting."

That Green Thing
Gives you a different perspective!
In the line at the store, the cashier told the older woman that she should bring her own grocery bag because plastic bags weren't good for the environment. The woman apologized to him and explained, "We didn't have the 'green thing' back in my day."
The clerk responded, "That's our problem today. The former generation did not care enough to save our environment."
He was right, that generation didn't have the green thing in its day.
Back then, they returned their milk bottles, soda bottles and beer bottles to the store. The store sent them back to the plant to be washed and sterilized and refilled, so it could use the same bottles over and over. So they really were recycled. But they didn't have the green thing back in that customer's day. In her day, they walked up stairs, because they didn't have an escalator in every store and office building.. They walked to the grocery store and didn't climb into a 300-horsepower machine every time they had to go two blocks.
But she was right. They didn't have the green thing in her day. Back then, they washed the baby's diapers because they didn't have the throw-away kind. They dried clothes on a line, not in an energy gobbling machine burning up 220 volts - wind and solar power really did dry the clothes.
Kids got hand-me-down clothes from their brothers or sisters, not always brand-new clothing.
But that old lady is right, they didn't have the green thing back in her day.
Back then, they had one TV, or radio, in the house - not a TV in every room. And the TV had a small screen the size of a handkerchief, not a screen the size of the state of Montana. In the kitchen, they blended and stirred by hand because they didn't have electric machines to do everything for you.
When they packaged a fragile item to send in the mail, they used a wadded up old newspaper to cushion it, not styrofoam or plastic bubble wrap.
Back then, they didn't fire up an engine and burn gasoline just to cut the lawn. They used a push mower that ran on human power. They exercised by working so they didn't need to go to a health club to run on treadmills that operate on electricity.
But she's right, they didn't have the green thing back then.
They drank from a fountain when they were thirsty instead of using a cup or a plastic bottle every time they had a drink of water. They refilled their writing pens with ink instead of buying a new pen, and they replaced the razor blades in a razor instead of throwing away the whole razor just because the blade got dull.
But they didn't have the green thing back then.
Back then, people took the streetcar or a bus and kids rode their bikes to school or rode the school bus instead of turning their moms into a 24-hour taxi service. They had one electrical outlet in a room, not an entire bank of sockets to power a dozen appliances. And they didn't need a computerized gadget to receive a signal beamed from satellites 2,000 miles out in space in order to find the nearest pizza joint.
But isn't it sad the current generation laments how wasteful the old folks were just because they didn't have the green thing back then?

In Honor of Fallen Patriots
They Gave Their Fortunes and Lives for Our Liberty
"Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends." --John 15:12-14
Memorial Day was first observed as Decoration Day to commemorate those who died in the War Between the States. It is a day set aside in deference to American Patriots who pledged and delivered their lives to Support and Defend the Rule of Law enshrined in our Constitution.
Since our nation's founding, more than one million American Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and Coast Guardsmen have paid the ultimate price in defense of our nation, and it is their final sacrifice that we honor with solemn reverence.
Our Founders clearly understood that the burden of sustaining Liberty would be calculated in human sacrifice. As John Adams noted, "I am well aware of the toil and blood and treasure that it will cost to maintain this Declaration, and support and defend these States." So, on this last Monday in May, millions of American Patriots will honor the service and sacrifice of these uniformed Patriots by participating in respectful commemorations across the nation.
Who were these brave souls?
On 12 May 1962, Gen. Douglas MacArthur addressed the cadets at the U.S. Military Academy, offering this description: "Their story is known to all of you. It is the story of the American man at arms. My estimate of him was formed on the battlefields many, many years ago and has never changed. I regarded him then, as I regard him now, as one of the world's noblest figures -- not only as one of the finest military characters, but also as one of the most stainless. His name and fame are the birthright of every American citizen. In his youth and strength, his love and loyalty, he gave all that mortality can give. He needs no eulogy from me, or from any other man. He has written his own history and written it in red on his enemy's breast."
Gen. MacArthur continued: "In twenty campaigns, on a hundred battlefields, around a thousand campfires, I have witnessed that enduring fortitude, that patriotic self-abnegation and that invincible determination which have carved his statue in the hearts of his people. From one end of the world to the other, he has drained deep the chalice of courage. As I listened to those songs in memory's eye, I could see those staggering columns of the First World War, bending under soggy packs on many a weary march, from dripping dusk to drizzling dawn, slogging ankle deep through mire of shell-pocked roads; to form grimly for the attack, blue-lipped, covered with sludge and mud, chilled by the wind and rain, driving home to their objective, and for many, to the judgment seat of God. I do not know the dignity of their birth, but I do know the glory of their death. They died unquestioning, uncomplaining, with faith in their hearts, and on their lips the hope that we would go on to victory. Always for them: duty, honor, country. Always their blood, and sweat, and tears, as they saw the way and the light."
In the current era, too many of our countrymen have no understanding of, or appreciation for duty, honor, and country. They are swooned by media outlets luring them to Memorial Day "sales" that glorify the commercial exploitation now attendant to every national day of recognition. Indeed, while divisions of America's Armed Forces around the world are standing in harm's way against formidable Jihadi adversaries, many Americans will be too preoccupied with beer, barbecue and baseball to pause and recognize the priceless burden borne by generations of uniformed Patriots, that they may be so preoccupied.
To a great extent, Memorial Day has been sold out, and no more so than by politicians who use the occasion to feign Patriotism for a day (or a moment) while in reality, they are in constant violation of their sacred oaths to our Constitution.
In the last few weeks, I have observed the current commander in chief of our Armed Forces as he has converted Osama's Termination into political fodder for his 2012 campaign. For a man who has shown so much contempt for our uniformed Patriots, he has wasted no time taking credit for their successes.
Is he fit for command?
Unlike political advancement, which in most cases is attained by duplicity and deception, moving up the ranks in our Armed Services is based largely on performance evaluations. Each service branch has its own assessment forms for officers and NCOs. The Army has Officer Evaluation Reports, the Air Force has Officer Performance Reports, and the Navy and Marine Corps have Fitness Reports (FITREPs), all in order to evaluate proficiency and character as prerequisites for advancement.
The Army evaluates loyalty, duty, respect, selfless service, honor, integrity and personal courage. Let there be no doubt that if the current CINC were subject to the same appraisal as an Army or Marine Corps E-5 (sergeant), he would be judged severely under the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Indeed, he would likely be court-martialed for dereliction of duty and dishonorably discharged. No CINC in our nation's history has been less fit to serve in that capacity than Barack Hussein Obama.
Obama's malfeasance notwithstanding, there is still great promise for Liberty and the security of that promise resides, first and foremost, within the ranks of our uniformed Patriots, our countrymen who have volunteered years of their young lives and have publicly declared their dedication to the ideals of Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. It is fitting therefore that we honor their service accordingly.
On Memorial Day of 1982, President Ronald Reagan offered these words in honor of Patriots interred at Arlington National Cemetery: "I have no illusions about what little I can add now to the silent testimony of those who gave their lives willingly for their country. Words are even more feeble on this Memorial Day, for the sight before us is that of a strong and good nation that stands in silence and remembers those who were loved and who, in return, loved their countrymen enough to die for them. Yet, we must try to honor them not for their sakes alone, but for our own. And if words cannot repay the debt we owe these men, surely with our actions we must strive to keep faith with them and with the vision that led them to battle and to final sacrifice."
He continued, "Our first obligation to them and ourselves is plain enough: The United States and the freedom for which it stands, the freedom for which they died, must endure and prosper. Their lives remind us that freedom is not bought cheaply. It has a cost; it imposes a burden. And just as they whom we commemorate were willing to sacrifice, so too must we -- in a less final, less heroic way -- be willing to give of ourselves. It is this, beyond the controversy and the congressional debate, beyond the blizzard of budget numbers and the complexity of modern weapons systems, that motivates us in our search for security and peace. ... The willingness of some to give their lives so that others might live never fails to evoke in us a sense of wonder and mystery. One gets that feeling here on this hallowed ground, and I have known that same poignant feeling as I looked out across the rows of white crosses and Stars of David in Europe, in the Philippines, and the military cemeteries here in our own land. Each one marks the resting place of an American hero and, in my lifetime, the heroes of World War I, the Doughboys, the GI's of World War II or Korea or Vietnam. They span several generations of young Americans, all different and yet all alike, like the markers above their resting places, all alike in a truly meaningful way."
President Reagan concluded, "As we honor their memory today, let us pledge that their lives, their sacrifices, their valor shall be justified and remembered for as long as God gives life to this nation. ... That is what we must all ask."

For the fallen, we are certain of that which is noted on all Marine Corps Honorable Discharge orders: "Fideli Certa Merces" -- to the faithful there is certain reward.
To the beneficiaries of the legacy of Liberty that they defended with their lives, I humbly ask that each of you observe Memorial Day with reverence.
You can help to prepare for Memorial Day by placing flags at headstones in your local military cemetery (generally the Saturday prior to Memorial Day). Take a moment and read about the Tomb of the Unknowns. In honor of American Patriots who have died in defense of our great nation, lower your flag to half-staff from sunrise to 1200 on Monday. (Read more about proper etiquette and protocol.) Join us by setting aside a time of silence for remembrance and prayer. Offer a personal word of gratitude and comfort to surviving family members you know who are grieving for a beloved warrior fallen in battle.
On this and every day, please pray for our Patriot Armed Forces now standing in harm's way around the world in defense of our Liberty, and for the families awaiting their safe return.

Boiled Crawfish
Boiled crawfish are kind of funny. Almost everyone that first looks at them think that they are disgusting. After trying some boiled crawfish, almost everyone loves them! The key to trying boiled crawfish is just to try them. No matter how scary looking they may be to you, you will never understand how delicious they are until you just taste one.
Eating boiled crawfish is almost like going to a football game in Louisiana. As soon as the season arrives, everyone can't wait to go to a boil and eat some boiled crawfish. We may hang around the crawfish boil all day long. We will drink a few adult beverages, play some Cajun music, share a few stories, and eat our boiled crawfish all day long (and sometimes all night long too). If you haven't tried these little mud bugs yet, it's time to give it a go.
BOILED CRAWFISH RECIPES
There are at least 10,000 boiled crawfish recipes. Everyone has at least a few ways that they like to cook their crawfish. We could fill up a dozen websites with different boiled crawfish recipes. Instead of doing that, we are going to give you our favorite boiled crawfish recipes to work with. You can adjust these to suit your taste (super spicy, spicy, mild, etc.). "My Favorite Boiled Crawfish Recipe"
Ingredients:
•One sack of live Louisiana crawfish (30-40 lbs.)
•1 box of table salt
•2 cups of liquid crab boil
•25 peeled onions
•5 lbs. of smoked sausage cut into 3" links
•5 lbs. of new potatoes
•10 ears of fresh corn, shucked and cut into halves
Instructions:
•You first need to purge the crawfish. place the crawfish into a large tub. Run water over the crawfish and dump it several times until the water stays clear. Fill the tub with water again and add the box of salt. Stir the crawfish for about 5 minutes, and then empty the water. Rinse the crawfish with fresh water one more time. Now your crawfish are nice and clean.
•In your large crawfish pot (20 gallons or so), fill it half way with water. Add the liquid crab boil. Cover the pot and crank up the heat to the highest setting. Once it reaches a boil, allow it to boil for about 5 minutes.

Eating boiled crawfish is almost like going to a football game in Louisiana. As soon as the season arrives, everyone can't wait to go to a boil and eat some boiled crawfish. We may hang around the crawfish boil all day long. We will drink a few adult beverages, play some Cajun music, share a few stories, and eat our boiled crawfish all day long (and sometimes all night long too). There are at least 10,000 boiled crawfish recipes. Everyone has at least a few ways that they like to cook their crawfish. We could fill up a dozen websites with different boiled crawfish recipes. Instead of doing that, we are going to give you our favorite boiled crawfish recipes to work with. You can adjust these to suit your taste (super spicy, spicy, mild, etc.). "My Favorite Boiled Crawfish Recipe"
Ingredients:
•One sack of live Louisiana crawfish (30-40 lbs.)
•1 box of table salt
•2 cups of liquid crab boil
•25 peeled onions
•5 lbs. of smoked sausage cut into 3" links
•5 lbs. of new potatoes
•10 ears of fresh corn, shucked and cut into halves
Instructions:
•You first need to purge the crawfish. place the crawfish into a large tub. Run water over the crawfish and dump it several times until the water stays clear. Fill the tub with water again and add the box of salt. Stir the crawfish for about 5 minutes, and then empty the water. Rinse the crawfish with fresh water one more time. Now your crawfish are nice and clean.
•In your large crawfish pot (20 gallons or so), fill it half way with water. Add the liquid crab boil. Cover the pot and crank up the heat to the highest setting. Once it reaches a boil, allow it to boil for about 5 minutes.

Since we all love pies, and Cajuns love crawfish ( as well as anyone else that decides to finally try them), crawfish pie combines the best of both worlds in a hearty meal that can fill anyone up pretty quickly.

Of all of the Cajun recipes, crawfish pie recipes can be one of the toughest ones to perfect. Many crawfish pie recipes are not exact, and we always have to change a little here and there to make it come out just right. The same can be said for these crawfish pie recipes. "Cajun Crawfish Pie"
Ingredients:
•1/2 stick of real butter

•Heat the oven to 400 degrees F.
•In a large skillet, melt the butter over a medium heat.
•To the melted butter, add the onions, celery, bell pepper, red pepper, salt, and black pepper. Cook for about 10 minutes until the onions are a golden color.
•Add the tomatoes and cook for another 7 minutes, stirring ocasionally.
•Add the parsley and the crawfish, and cook for another 5 minutes.
•In a seperate bowl, dissolve the flour into the water. Add this mixture to the skillet. Stir this for about 4 minutes until it thickens.
•Pour the ingredients that are in the skillet into a cool bowl. Allow to cool for at least 30 minutes.
•Place the pie crust onto a 9" pie pan. Crimp the edges.
•Pour the mixture from the cool bowl into the pie pan.
•Place the pie on a baking sheet and into the oven.
•Cook in the oven for about 45 minutes, or until the edges are goelden brown.

I. Introduction: An opportunity is defined as a favorable occasion when we have the option of making a decision that could have a positive impact. Times like this are a gift from the Lord.
But too often, we let opportunities pass us by, failing to recognize the heavenly Father sent them. So how can we avoid missing what He has in store for us? The Bible teaches us about a blind beggar named Bartimaeus who experienced Jesus’ love in an unexpected way. We, too, need to remain sensitive to God’s activity in and around us. That way, we can be sure to not miss what He has planned for our lives.
II. Learning from the Story of Bartimaeus
A. In Jesus’ day, people believed that a person’s blindness or disease was caused by sin—either his own or his parents’ (John 9:2). But our Savior values everyone, including the disabled. He sees their impairments not as an indication of sinfulness, but as a chance for His Father’s power to be revealed (John 9:3).
B. Because it was right before the Passover, many people were walking through Jericho to Jerusalem. Bartimaeus had heard of a man from Nazareth named Jesus, who was known for healing the blind and performing many other miracles. But he didn’t expect to have the opportunity to meet Him in person.
C. How do we sharpen our ability to identify the opportunities God brings? Observe how the Lord worked in the lives of people from Old and New Testament stories. Also, look at how He works in the lives of others around you. God will work through the Holy Spirit to make you sensitive to His voice.
D. Once we learn how God operates, we must choose to walk in faith, as Bartimaeus did. He could easily have believed that it was impossible either to be healed or to meet the Son of God. But Bartimaeus cried out in hope (Mark 10:47), even though others in the crowd tried to hush him.
E. Jesus’ reply to this poor man’s plea for mercy is crucial. It demonstrates that He is willing to listen to our cries for help, no matter what condition we’re in.
F. Notice that Jesus asked Bartimaeus, “What do you want Me to do for you?” (Mark 10:51). Do you realize that Jesus has probably said that to you many times? Like Bartimaeus, He wants you to tell Him what you need. Nobody is insignificant in the eyes of God. He wants to speak to you because He loves you and desires a personal, intimate relationship with all His children.
G. In response to Bartimaeus’s faith, Jesus healed his blindness. Immediately upon regaining his eyesight, Bartimaeus began following Jesus.
III. What Is Our Responsibility?
The Lord creates opportunities for us to fulfill His plan and purpose for our lives (Eph. 2:10). But what is our responsibility? We need to:
A. Ask ourselves what God has already done for us.
B. Recognize that He will not give opportunities without providing all we need to fulfill them through the power of the Holy Spirit.
C. Make a decision to follow the voice of the Lord.
D. Persist without giving up, even if others criticize us.
E. Be people who take advantage of every God-given opportunity.
IV. Conclusion: Jesus’ walk through Jericho was not just any opportunity for Bartimaeus—it was his only chance. It was the last time the Lord would walk that way to Jerusalem before His crucifixion.
For us as children of God, there are promising new roads to take every day. But we have to decide: Do we believe the Lord? Do we want to explore what He has to offer us? Take advantage of the unique and exciting opportunities God has planned just for you. My friend, I promise you will not regret it.

Former presidential candidate Alan Keyes has given perhaps his most dire warning yet, saying that the Obama administration is preparing to stage terror attacks, declare martial law and cancel the 2012 elections, which is why they are demonizing their political enemies as criminals and terrorists.

Keyes is best known for his performance during the 2000 Republican presidential debates, when he was accredited by many media outlets as being the clear winner during a series of debates with George W. Bush and John McCain.
“It’s obvious that they will stop at nothing,” Keyes told attendees of a reception in Fort Wayne, adding, “We may wake up one day and there’s a series of terrorist attacks, the economy is paralysed….martial law will be declared everywhere in the United States and it won’t end until the crisis ends.”
Keyes said that Americans should be thankful if they even see another election in 2012, stating, “If we don’t wake up and work to see that it happens, we will not see another election.”
“The minute they think they can get away with it, they will end this system of government and that is their intention,” added Keyes, noting that everyone acting as if the time we are in was just “business as usual” reminds him of the attitude of politicians in the Weimar Republic when Hitler was rising to power or eastern Europe when the Communists were taking over after the second world war.
Keyes said that because the majority of people are decent-minded, they believe others will play by the rules when this simply isn’t the case, warning that this attitude will allow evil to take over before we can do anything about it.
“It is so clear that we have now put a faction in place – they are not playing by the rules and they don’t intend to play by the rules – if they were playing by the rules they wouldn’t have tried to identify their opposition as criminals,” added Keyes, making reference to the recent controversy surrounding the release of the MIAC and Homeland Security reports, which implied that Americans who exercise and are knowledgeable about their constitutional rights are a threat to law enforcement and potential domestic terrorists.
Keyes said that the only solution was from the bottom up because our leaders “are so gutless that they won’t even ask that the Constitution be enforced for clear, plain, absolutely unequivocal requirements,” and respond meekly with “their lips shut and their hearts terrorized.”
Keyes also warned of Obama’s agenda to create a civilian security force and said it was part of the ultimate agenda to disarm American citizens and create a police state.
Keyes has been a vocal critic of Obama, warning that he is a radical Communist who is determined to destroy America, and that if his agenda is not stopped then the country as we know it will cease to exist.

Just days after Marxist Free Market Saboteur Steve Lerner’s plans for mass May Day national economic disruptions have become known via secretly caught exposure of a taped meeting with other extremists, now new evidence implicates the Obama White House in sedition. Regulatory Czar Cass Sunstein; his wife Samantha Power, Senior Director of the National Security Council; and Department of Justice Attorney General Eric Holder are key players in a related plot to dismantle and destroy America’s Constitutional republic.
In April 2005, Sunstein opened a conference at Yale Law School sponsored by George Soros’ Open Society Institute entitled, “The Constitution in 2020.” The event was designed as a forum to craft the agenda and assign the tasks for changing the nature and interpretation of the Constitution into a fully “progressive” Marxist Manifesto by the year 2020. Sunstein was a natural fit for the conference, as his 2004 book, “The Second Bill of Rights: FDR’S Unfinished Revolution and Why We Need It More than Ever” proposed a radical new document to replace America’s traditional Bill of Rights.
The conference was co-sponsored by the American Constitution Society, another hard Left Marxist organization which seeks to rewrite the Constitution. Attorney General Eric Holder not only previously served on the ACS Board of Directors, but is keynote speaker for their 2011 Convention.

Lerner identifies this as a union plan, presumably crafted by his cronies at the SEIU, and he calls for the aid of other Obama-faction leaders and community organizers. But evidence suggests Lerner may already have the assistance of Administration insiders and the Community Organizer in Chief – Barack Hussein Obama.
White House visitor logs show that Stephen Lerner has visited the White House repeatedly over the last two years. At least one of these visits was arranged by the office of then White House Political Director Patrick Gaspard – one of Lerner’s previous SEIU colleagues and former leader of one of the most notoriously militant SEUI chapters. Gaspard, not coincidentally, is a close Obama advisor who is now the Executive Director of the Democratic National Party and a key player on Obama’s 2012 election team.
Obama made clear in a now infamous 2008 campaign rally that SEIU’s agenda is his agenda. Obama led a SEIU member chant after recalling how he started his early “organizing career” with SEIU troops on the ground, and went on to declare, “Just imagine what we can do together. Just imagine a President whose life’s work is your (SEIU’s) work”! It seems we no longer need to imagine.
The present occupant of the Oval Office has brought sedition to the presidency – the highest office in the land. Barack Obama’s own front group “Organizing for America” helped stage the recent Wisconsin “Days of Rage” protests that were notable for union-led violence, death threats and radical acts of intimidation, and now it appears he and his Administration may be connected to a far-left coalition of subversives actively plotting to collapse the American economy.
My friends, Stephen Lerner’s closed-attendance discussion at The Left Forum was not some simple academic and theoretical discussion of what revolutionary resistance might look like. It was a high-level presentation of a very real, well thought out plan for economic terrorism already in play, and a well-received recruitment call to leftwing radical leaders of other Obama-faction organizations to join him. Stephen Lerner’s terrorist plans, and actions of incitement and enlistment are outright sedition, all potentially prosecutable offenses.

Former presidential candidate Alan Keyes has given perhaps his most dire warning yet, saying that the Obama administration is preparing to stage terror attacks, declare martial law and cancel the 2012 elections, which is why they are demonizing their political enemies as criminals and terrorists.

Keyes is best known for his performance during the 2000 Republican presidential debates, when he was accredited by many media outlets as being the clear winner during a series of debates with George W. Bush and John McCain.
“It’s obvious that they will stop at nothing,” Keyes told attendees of a reception in Fort Wayne, adding, “We may wake up one day and there’s a series of terrorist attacks, the economy is paralysed….martial law will be declared everywhere in the United States and it won’t end until the crisis ends.”
Keyes said that Americans should be thankful if they even see another election in 2012, stating, “If we don’t wake up and work to see that it happens, we will not see another election.”
“The minute they think they can get away with it, they will end this system of government and that is their intention,” added Keyes, noting that everyone acting as if the time we are in was just “business as usual” reminds him of the attitude of politicians in the Weimar Republic when Hitler was rising to power or eastern Europe when the Communists were taking over after the second world war.
Keyes said that because the majority of people are decent-minded, they believe others will play by the rules when this simply isn’t the case, warning that this attitude will allow evil to take over before we can do anything about it.
“It is so clear that we have now put a faction in place – they are not playing by the rules and they don’t intend to play by the rules – if they were playing by the rules they wouldn’t have tried to identify their opposition as criminals,” added Keyes, making reference to the recent controversy surrounding the release of the MIAC and Homeland Security reports, which implied that Americans who exercise and are knowledgeable about their constitutional rights are a threat to law enforcement and potential domestic terrorists.
Keyes said that the only solution was from the bottom up because our leaders “are so gutless that they won’t even ask that the Constitution be enforced for clear, plain, absolutely unequivocal requirements,” and respond meekly with “their lips shut and their hearts terrorized.”
Keyes also warned of Obama’s agenda to create a civilian security force and said it was part of the ultimate agenda to disarm American citizens and create a police state.
Keyes has been a vocal critic of Obama, warning that he is a radical Communist who is determined to destroy America, and that if his agenda is not stopped then the country as we know it will cease to exist.

White House visitor logs show that Stephen Lerner has visited the White House repeatedly over the last two years. At least one of these visits was arranged by the office of then White House Political Director Patrick Gaspard – one of Lerner’s previous SEIU colleagues and former leader of one of the most notoriously militant SEUI chapters. Gaspard, not coincidentally, is a close Obama advisor who is now the Executive Director of the Democratic National Party and a key player on Obama’s 2012 election team.

First of all, the birth certificate that the White House released lists Obama’s birth as August 4, 1961. It also lists Barack Hussein Obama as his father.
No big deal, right? At the time of Obama’s birth, it also shows that his father is aged 25 years old, and that Obama’s father’s birth place is in ” Kenya , East Africa “. This wouldn’t appear like anything of concern, except the fact that Kenya did not exist until 1963, two whole years after Obama’s birth, and 27 years after his father’s birth.
How could have Obama’s father have been born in a country that did not yet exist? Up and until Kenya was formed in 1963, it was known as the “British East Africa Protectorate”. But, this is not the only thing that I found that just does not fit.
The other item that I looked into was the hospital that Obama was born in. On the birth certificate released by the White House, the listed place of birth is “Kapi’olani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital”.
This cannot be, because the hospital(s) in question in 1961 were called “KauiKeolani Children’s Hospital” and “Kapi’olani Maternity Home”, respectively. The name did not change to Kapi’olani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital until 1978, when these two hospitals merged. How can this particular name of the hospital be on a birth certificate dated 1961 if this name had not yet been applied to it until 1978?
Go ahead, look it up. I am not talking crazy talk, those are the facts. Like I said, I thought that this was a non-issue until the actual certificate was released. Now that it has been released, of course I had to look into it. I have found these issues, now I know that something is up. If you doubt me, just look at the following resources:

Displaying the hubris of an emperor rather than an elected official and possibly violating campaign finance by doing so, Obama brought the fight against Internet publications critical of his administration in-house. Previously, such efforts were performed and funded by the Democratic National Committee (DNC). With LEE’s hire inside of the White House Communications Department, the operation is now being officially funded by the American taxpayers.
To launch his campaign against Obama detractors and negative reports, LEE has already created an official White House Twitter account, featuring as his first tweet the image of “The Terminator” with the message “OK, turning on the White House Twitter machine that they issued me in 3…2…1…”
By design, the image sends a threatening message to anyone critical of the Obama administration and sends a signal that unfavorable reports about Obama and his reign will be dealt with much more aggressively.
As Americans, we know that the right to a free press and public opposition to the ruling powers is integral to our freedom. What message is this White House sending to those who aspire to engage in a healthy debate or discussion of issues by affixing the image of “The Terminator” to its official White House Twitter account? We’d say that tactic is much more consistent with the Orwellian theme of Newspeak and its enforcement, rather than one actually committed to the truth.

I am deeply honored by your warm welcome. And I am deeply honored that you have given me the opportunity to address Congress a second time.
Mr. Vice President, do you remember the time we were the new kids in town?
And I do see a lot of old friends here. And I do see a lot of new friends of Israel here. Democrats and Republicans alike.
Israel has no better friend than America. And America has no better friend than Israel. We stand together to defend democracy. We stand together to advance peace. We stand together to fight terrorism. Congratulations America, Congratulations, Mr. President. You got bin Laden. Good riddance!
In an unstable Middle East, Israel is the one anchor of stability. In a region of shifting alliances, Israel is America’s unwavering ally. Israel has always been pro-American. Israel will always be pro-American.
My friends, you don’t need to do nation building in Israel. We’re already built. You don’t need to export democracy to Israel. We’ve already got it. You don’t need to send American troops to defend Israel. We defend ourselves. You’ve been very generous in giving us tools to do the job of defending Israel on our own. Thank you all, and thank you President Obama, for your steadfast commitment to Israel’s security. I know economic times are tough. I deeply appreciate this.
Support for Israel’s security is a wise investment in our common future. For an epic battle is now unfolding in the Middle East, between tyranny and freedom. A great convulsion is shaking the earth from the Khyber Pass to the Straits of Gibraltar. The tremors have shattered states and toppled governments. And we can all see that the ground is still shifting. Now this historic moment holds the promise of a new dawn of freedom and opportunity. Millions of young people are determined to change their future. We all look at them. They muster courage. They risk their lives. They demand dignity. They desire liberty.
These extraordinary scenes in Tunis and Cairo, evoke those of Berlin and Prague in 1989. Yet as we share their hopes, but we also must also remember that those hopes could be snuffed out as they were in Tehran in 1979. You remember what happened then. The brief democratic spring in Iran was cut short by a ferocious and unforgiving tyranny. This same tyranny smothered Lebanon’s democratic Cedar Revolution, and inflicted on that long-suffering country, the medieval rule of Hezbollah.
So today, the Middle East stands at a fateful crossroads. Like all of you, I pray that the peoples of the region choose the path less travelled, the path of liberty. No one knows what this path consists of better than you. This path is not paved by elections alone. It is paved when governments permit protests in town squares, when limits are placed on the powers of rulers, when judges are beholden to laws and not men, and when human rights cannot be crushed by tribal loyalties or mob rule.
Israel has always embraced this path, in the Middle East has long rejected it. In a region where women are stoned, gays are hanged, Christians are persecuted, Israel stands out. It is different.
As the great English writer George Eliot predicted over a century ago, that once established, the Jewish state will “shine like a bright star of freedom amid the despotisms of the East.” Well, she was right. We have a free press, independent courts, an open economy, rambunctious parliamentary debates. You think you guys are tough on one another in Congress? Come spend a day in the Knesset. Be my guest.
Courageous Arab protesters, are now struggling to secure these very same rights for their peoples, for their societies. We’re proud that over one million Arab citizens of Israel have been enjoying these rights for decades. Of the 300 million Arabs in the Middle East and North Africa, only Israel’s Arab citizens enjoy real democratic rights. I want you to stop for a second and think about that. Of those 300 million Arabs, less than one-half of one-percent are truly free, and they’re all citizens of Israel!
This startling fact reveals a basic truth: Israel is not what is wrong about the Middle East. Israel is what is right about the Middle East.
Israel fully supports the desire of Arab peoples in our region to live freely. We long for the day when Israel will be one of many real democracies in the Middle East.
Fifteen years ago, I stood at this very podium, and said that democracy must start to take root in the Arab World. Well, it’s begun to take root. This beginning holds the promise of a brilliant future of peace and prosperity. For I believe that a Middle East that is genuinely democratic will be a Middle East truly at peace.
But while we hope and work for the best, we must also recognize that powerful forces oppose this future. They oppose modernity. They oppose democracy. They oppose peace.
Foremost among these forces is Iran. The tyranny in Tehran brutalizes its own people. It supports attacks against American troops in Afghanistan and Iraq. It subjugates Lebanon and Gaza. It sponsors terror worldwide.
When I last stood here, I spoke of the dire consequences of Iran developing nuclear weapons. Now time is running out, and the hinge of history may soon turn. For the greatest danger facing humanity could soon be upon us: A militant Islamic regime armed with nuclear weapons.
Militant Islam threatens the world. It threatens Islam. I have no doubt that it will ultimately be defeated. It will eventually succumb to the forces of freedom and progress. But like other fanaticisms that were doomed to fail, militant Islam could exact a horrific price from all of us before its inevitable demise.
A nuclear-armed Iran would ignite a nuclear arms race in the Middle East. It would give terrorists a nuclear umbrella. It would make the nightmare of nuclear terrorism a clear and present danger throughout the world. I want you to understand what this means. They could put the bomb anywhere. They could put it on a missile. It could be on a container ship in a port, or in a suitcase on a subway.
Now the threat to my country cannot be overstated. Those who dismiss it are sticking their heads in the sand. Less than seven decades after six million Jews were murdered, Iran’s leaders deny the Holocaust of the Jewish people, while calling for the annihilation of the Jewish state.
Leaders who spew such venom, should be banned from every respectable forum on the planet. But there is something that makes the outrage even greater: The lack of outrage. In much of the international community, the calls for our destruction are met with utter silence. It is even worse because there are many who rush to condemn Israel for defending itself against Iran’s terror proxies.
But not you. Not America. You have acted differently. You’ve condemned the Iranian regime for its genocidal aims. You’ve passed tough sanctions against Iran. History will salute you America.
President Obama has said that the United States is determined to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons. He successfully led the Security Council to adopt sanctions against Iran. You in Congress passed even tougher sanctions. These words and deeds are vitally important.
Yet the Ayatollah regime briefly suspended its nuclear program only once, in 2003, when it feared the possibility of military action. That same year, Muammar Qadaffi gave up his nuclear weapons program, and for the same reason. The more Iran believes that all options are on the table, the less the chance of confrontation. This is why I ask you to continue to send an unequivocal message: That America will never permit Iran to develop nuclear weapons.
As for Israel, if history has taught the Jewish people anything, it is that we must take calls for our destruction seriously. We are a nation that rose from the ashes of the Holocaust. When we say never again, we mean never again. Israel always reserves the right to defend itself.
My friends, while Israel will be ever vigilant in its defense, we will never give up on our quest for peace. I guess we’ll give it up when we achieve it. Israel wants peace. Israel needs peace. We’ve achieved historic peace agreements with Egypt and Jordan that have held up for decades.
I remember what it was like before we had peace. I was nearly killed in a firefight inside the Suez Canal. I mean that literally. I battled terrorists along both banks of the Jordan River. Too many Israelis have lost loved ones. I know their grief. I lost my brother.
So no one in Israel wants a return to those terrible days. The peace with Egypt and Jordan has long served as an anchor of stability and peace in the heart of the Middle East.
This peace should be bolstered by economic and political support to all those who remain committed to peace.
The peace agreements with Egypt and Jordan are vital. But they’re not enough. We must also find a way to forge a lasting peace with the Palestinians. Two years ago, I publicly committed to a solution of two states for two peoples: A Palestinian state alongside the Jewish state.
I am willing to make painful compromises to achieve this historic peace. As the leader of Israel, it is my responsibility to lead my people to peace.
This is not easy for me. I recognize that in a genuine peace, we will be required to give up parts of the Jewish homeland. In Judea and Samaria, the Jewish people are not foreign occupiers. We are not the British in India. We are not the Belgians in the Congo.
This is the land of our forefathers, the Land of Israel, to which Abraham brought the idea of one God, where David set out to confront Goliath, and where Isaiah saw a vision of eternal peace. No distortion of history can deny the four thousand year old bond, between the Jewish people and the Jewish land.
But there is another truth: The Palestinians share this small land with us. We seek a peace in which they will be neither Israel’s subjects nor its citizens. They should enjoy a national life of dignity as a free, viable and independent people in their own state. They should enjoy a prosperous economy, where their creativity and initiative can flourish.
We’ve already seen the beginnings of what is possible. In the last two years,
the Palestinians have begun to build a better life for themselves. Prime Minister Fayad has led this effort. I wish him a speedy recovery from his recent operation.
We’ve helped the Palestinian economy by removing hundreds of barriers and roadblocks to the free flow of goods and people. The results have been nothing short of remarkable. The Palestinian economy is booming. It’s growing by more than 10% a year.
Palestinian cities look very different today than they did just a few years ago. They have shopping malls, movie theaters, restaurants, banks. They even have e-businesses. This is all happening without peace. Imagine what could happen with peace. Peace would herald a new day for both peoples. It would make the dream of a broader Arab-Israeli peace a realistic possibility.
So now here is the question. You have to ask it. If the benefits of peace with the Palestinians are so clear, why has peace eluded us? Because all six Israeli Prime Ministers since the signing of Oslo accords agreed to establish a Palestinian state. Myself included. So why has peace not been achieved? Because so far, the Palestinians have been unwilling to accept a Palestinian state, if it meant accepting a Jewish state alongside it.
You see, our conflict has never been about the establishment of a Palestinian state. It has always been about the existence of the Jewish state. This is what this conflict is about. In 1947, the United Nations voted to partition the land into a Jewish state and an Arab state. The Jews said yes. The Palestinians said no. In recent years, the Palestinians twice refused generous offers by Israeli Prime Ministers, to establish a Palestinian state on virtually all the territory won by Israel in the Six Day War.
They were simply unwilling to end the conflict. And I regret to say this: They continue to educate their children to hate. They continue to name public squares after terrorists. And worst of all, they continue to perpetuate the fantasy that Israel will one day be flooded by the descendants of Palestinian refugees.
My friends, this must come to an end. President Abbas must do what I have done. I stood before my people, and I told you it wasn’t easy for me, and I said… “I will accept a Palestinian state.” It is time for President Abbas to stand before his people and say… “I will accept a Jewish state.”
Those six words will change history. They will make clear to the Palestinians that this conflict must come to an end. That they are not building a state to continue the conflict with Israel, but to end it. They will convince the people of Israel that they have a true partner for peace. With such a partner, the people of Israel will be prepared to make a far reaching compromise. I will be prepared to make a far reaching compromise.
This compromise must reflect the dramatic demographic changes that have occurred since 1967. The vast majority of the 650,000 Israelis who live beyond the 1967 lines, reside in neighborhoods and suburbs of Jerusalem and Greater Tel Aviv.
These areas are densely populated but geographically quite small. Under any realistic peace agreement, these areas, as well as other places of critical strategic and national importance, will be incorporated into the final borders of Israel.
The status of the settlements will be decided only in negotiations. But we must also be honest. So I am saying today something that should be said publicly by anyone serious about peace. In any peace agreement that ends the conflict, some settlements will end up beyond Israel’s borders. The precise delineation of those borders must be negotiated. We will be very generous on the size of a future Palestinian state. But as President Obama said, the border will be different than the one that existed on June 4, 1967. Israel will not return to the indefensible lines of 1967.
We recognize that a Palestinian state must be big enough to be viable, independent and prosperous. President Obama rightly referred to Israel as the homeland of the Jewish people, just as he referred to the future Palestinian state as the homeland of the Palestinian people. Jews from around the world have a right to immigrate to the Jewish state. Palestinians from around the world should have a right to immigrate, if they so choose, to a Palestinian state. This means that the Palestinian refugee problem will be resolved outside the borders of Israel.
As for Jerusalem, only a democratic Israel has protected freedom of worship for all faiths in the city. Jerusalem must never again be divided. Jerusalem must remain the united capital of Israel. I know that this is a difficult issue for Palestinians. But I believe with creativity and goodwill a solution can be found.
This is the peace I plan to forge with a Palestinian partner committed to peace. But you know very well, that in the Middle East, the only peace that will hold is a peace you can defend.
So peace must be anchored in security. In recent years, Israel withdrew from South Lebanon and Gaza. But we didn’t get peace. Instead, we got 12,000 thousand rockets fired from those areas on our cities, on our children, by Hezbollah and Hamas. The UN peacekeepers in Lebanon failed to prevent the smuggling of this weaponry. The European observers in Gaza evaporated overnight. So if Israel simply walked out of the territories, the flow of weapons into a future Palestinian state would be unchecked. Missiles fired from it could reach virtually every home in Israel in less than a minute. I want you to think about that too. Imagine that right now we all had less than 60 seconds to find shelter from an incoming rocket. Would you live that way? Would anyone live that way? Well, we aren’t going to live that way either.
The truth is that Israel needs unique security arrangements because of its unique size. Israel is one of the smallest countries in the world. Mr. Vice President, I’ll grant you this. It’s bigger than Delaware. It’s even bigger than Rhode Island. But that’s about it. Israel on the 1967 lines would be half the width of the Washington Beltway.
Now here’s a bit of nostalgia. I first came to Washington thirty years ago as a young diplomat. It took me a while, but I finally figured it out: There is an America beyond the Beltway. But Israel on the 1967 lines would be only nine miles wide. So much for strategic depth.
So it is therefore absolutely vital for Israel’s security that a Palestinian state be fully demilitarized. And it is vital that Israel maintain a long-term military presence along the Jordan River. Solid security arrangements on the ground are necessary not only to protect the peace, they are necessary to protect Israel in case the peace unravels. For in our unstable region, no one can guarantee that our peace partners today will be there tomorrow.
And when I say tomorrow, I don’t mean some distant time in the future. I mean — tomorrow. Peace can be achieved only around the negotiating table. The Palestinian attempt to impose a settlement through the United Nations will not bring peace. It should be forcefully opposed by all those who want to see this conflict end.
I appreciate the President’s clear position on this issue. Peace cannot be imposed. It must be negotiated. But it can only be negotiated with partners committed to peace.
And Hamas is not a partner for peace. Hamas remains committed to Israel’s destruction and to terrorism. They have a charter. That charter not only calls for the obliteration of Israel, but says ‘kill the Jews wherever you find them’. Hamas’ leader condemned the killing of Osama bin Laden and praised him as a holy warrior. Now again I want to make this clear. Israel is prepared to sit down today and negotiate peace with the Palestinian Authority. I believe we can fashion a brilliant future of peace for our children. But Israel will not negotiate with a Palestinian government backed by the Palestinian version of Al Qaeda.
So I say to President Abbas: Tear up your pact with Hamas! Sit down and negotiate! Make peace with the Jewish state! And if you do, I promise you this. Israel will not be the last country to welcome a Palestinian state as a new member of the United Nations. It will be the first to do so.
My friends, the momentous trials of the last century, and the unfolding events of this century, attest to the decisive role of the United States in advancing peace and defending freedom. Providence entrusted the United States to be the guardian of liberty. All peoples who cherish freedom owe a profound debt of gratitude to your great nation. Among the most grateful nations is my nation, the people of Israel, who have fought for their liberty and survival against impossible odds, in ancient and modern times alike.
I speak on behalf of the Jewish people and the Jewish state when I say to you, representatives of America, Thank you. Thank you for your unwavering support for Israel. Thank you for ensuring that the flame of freedom burns bright throughout the world. May God bless all of you. And may God forever bless the United States of America.

SEMINOLE - World-famous wrestler Randy 'Macho Man' Savage, known for his "Ohh yeah" catch phrase, died after a car accident today in Seminole.
Savage was behind the wheel of his Jeep Wrangler, heading west on State Road 694, around 9:30 this morning. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the Jeep veered out of control, went over a concrete median, crossed over the eastbound lanes, and collided head-on with a tree near the intersection with 113th St. N.
Savage was rushed to Largo Medical Center, where he died. His 56-year-old wife Lynn was also in the car and suffered minor injuries.
The 58-year-old may have suffered a "medical event" before the crash, according to the accident report. TMZ.com, which broke the story, reported that Savage lost control of the Jeep because he had a heart attack.
Savage, whose real name was Randall Mario Poffo, began wrestling with the WWF back in 1985. He became one of the league's most popular stars and was known for his catch phrase: the deep-throated, raspy, over-the-top "Ohhh yeah."
Even non-wrestling fans would likely recognize the line thanks to Savage's frequent appearances in television commercials for Slim Jim beef jerky snacks.
Before his wrestling days, the Ohio native played minor league baseball for several teams. He ended his baseball career with the Tampa Tarpons in 1974.
Savage had just celebrated his one-year anniversary with Lynn, his second wife.
His fellow wrestlers, many of whom also live in the Tampa area, sent their condolences via Twitter. Hulk Hogan had just ended a decade-long feud with Savage and said he was "devastated."
"He had so much life in his eyes & in his spirit, I just pray that he's happy and in a better place and we miss him," tweeted Hogan.
"You were one of my childhood inspirations and heros [sic]. Strength, love and prayers to the Savage/Poffo family," added Dwayne Johnson, better known as 'The Rock.'

Savage lost control of his 2009 Jeep Wrangler while suffering a heart attack at roughly 9:25 a.m. Friday morning. A representative from the Florida Highway Patrol tells TMZ that Savage veered into oncoming traffic after crossing a concrete median and “collided head-on with a tree.”
The late wrestler’s death was confirmed by his brother, Lanny Poffo, who tells The New York Daily News that he was pronounced dead shortly after he was transported to the Largo Medical Center.
Savage began his career with the World Wrestling Federation in June 1985. Less than one year after his debut with the company, he won the Intercontinental title and kept the belt for 13 months.
Savage went on to become a two-time WWF Champion before joining Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling and becoming a four-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion.
To go along with his accomplishments in pro wrestling, he also became a spokesman for Slim Jim and made a cameo in 2002’s Spider-Man.

These pictures are very profound. It is fortunate that these photos have survived. Most probably, over a million wet plate photos were made during the civil war on glass plate.
Popular during the war, they lost their appeal afterwards and so many were sold for the glass. Many used in green houses. Over the years the sun caused the images to disappear.
These are pretty amazing considering they were taken up to 150 years ago: A compendium of photos from era of the War Between the States.

First let me offer my heartiest congratulations and kudos to our northern neighbors on the almost total obliteration of the liberals in their political offices. May we here in the United States be as fortunate in November, 2012.
I’m sorry, America, but I can’t join in the celebration of Osama bin Laden’s demise. It’s not that I am not happy this villain is dead, it’s just that I don’t want to honor the lies that our disgraceful snippet of a deluded leader is slavering all over anyone foolish enough to listen. He is making it sound as if HE planned and led the troops in the execution of the entire exercise. He also sounds close to claiming credit for it being his idea for several years. On 9/11/01 he was probably out hustling the neighborhoods in his community activist role.
To tell the truth, I have already non-publicly celebrated and congratulated those Special Military Forces that for so many years have been diligently and faithfully using various methods of proven surveillance and intelligence gathering, most likely NOT of Obama’s puny efforts at gathering truthful facts necessary to conducting an efficient and successful coup of capture or disposal of our enemies.
It was sickening to listen to that charlatan usurper in our White House bragging that HE caused this coup to happen. That imposter is not capable of playing with the ultra competent intelligence forces in our military ranks; although, with the watered-down quality of our current governmental intelligence personnel his ineptitude would be right at home.
As you all know, he has all but opposed these search and destroy measures that our clandestine government forces, military and intelligence would have normally used to carry out this mission. He would have had the hero warriors use techniques of namby-pamby, mustn’t upset the terrorists, a great majority of whom are Islamic fanatics driven by the creed of ‘death to infidels’ from their very own holy book.
Obama has succeeded in convincing a large number of misguided and anti-American thinking that intelligence extraction from deeply vowed killers must not be uncomfortable to the prisoners while trying to gain their operational secrets. Horrors if they use waterboarding or other successful techniques to obtain information that will save potentially thousands and perhaps millions of good and honest citizens.
He would probably even disallow using a feather to tickle the bottoms of their feet to extract critical intelligence information as being too barbaric. He would prefer that we use deprivation methods such as turning off the television at 10PM instead of the usual 11PM. That ought to make those killers sweat and ready to tell all.
Obama has managed to delude a large segment of our youth into believing that perceptions of cruelty in methods of extracting critical information from prisoners of war is somehow immoral. I believe that the last information of any value gotten from interrogation was gained when waterboarding was utilized.
Having been involved in a small amount of military combat which consisted of the taking of prisoners and questioning of same, I can attest to the efficiency of the more exacting methods of intelligence extraction by soft and hard measures. Conclusion: Soft doesn’t work. And what’s worse, as we’ve witnessed in this modern era of softness, as soon as those hard-core prisoners get their freedom, they come back with more vengeance than before.
Do you think Muslims behead their enemy prisoners because that is the humane method? You can bet they extracted a lot of information before the sword whistled through the air. If not, they would do it regardless.
As I said, I am not celebrating the death of Osama bin Laden; I’m not even convinced that it was Osama that Obama claims to have been buried at sea. Why the big rush to get rid of the body? And at sea yet, where there are non-existent chances of examining the body for POSITIVE ID.
An ideal situation for Obama to claim a victory and gather “brownie” points for reelection in 2012.
Would he do that? As an old saying goes, “Is the Pope a Catholic?”

First let me offer my heartiest congratulations and kudos to our northern neighbors on the almost total obliteration of the liberals in their political offices. May we here in the United States be as fortunate in November, 2012.
I’m sorry, America, but I can’t join in the celebration of Osama bin Laden’s demise. It’s not that I am not happy this villain is dead, it’s just that I don’t want to honor the lies that our disgraceful snippet of a deluded leader is slavering all over anyone foolish enough to listen. He is making it sound as if HE planned and led the troops in the execution of the entire exercise. He also sounds close to claiming credit for it being his idea for several years. On 9/11/01 he was probably out hustling the neighborhoods in his community activist role.
To tell the truth, I have already non-publicly celebrated and congratulated those Special Military Forces that for so many years have been diligently and faithfully using various methods of proven surveillance and intelligence gathering, most likely NOT of Obama’s puny efforts at gathering truthful facts necessary to conducting an efficient and successful coup of capture or disposal of our enemies.
It was sickening to listen to that charlatan usurper in our White House bragging that HE caused this coup to happen. That imposter is not capable of playing with the ultra competent intelligence forces in our military ranks; although, with the watered-down quality of our current governmental intelligence personnel his ineptitude would be right at home.
As you all know, he has all but opposed these search and destroy measures that our clandestine government forces, military and intelligence would have normally used to carry out this mission. He would have had the hero warriors use techniques of namby-pamby, mustn’t upset the terrorists, a great majority of whom are Islamic fanatics driven by the creed of ‘death to infidels’ from their very own holy book.
Obama has succeeded in convincing a large number of misguided and anti-American thinking that intelligence extraction from deeply vowed killers must not be uncomfortable to the prisoners while trying to gain their operational secrets. Horrors if they use waterboarding or other successful techniques to obtain information that will save potentially thousands and perhaps millions of good and honest citizens.
He would probably even disallow using a feather to tickle the bottoms of their feet to extract critical intelligence information as being too barbaric. He would prefer that we use deprivation methods such as turning off the television at 10PM instead of the usual 11PM. That ought to make those killers sweat and ready to tell all.
Obama has managed to delude a large segment of our youth into believing that perceptions of cruelty in methods of extracting critical information from prisoners of war is somehow immoral.
