Lord’s Day Supper

God cast his eyes down
Here upon my earthly home.
Dwelling there within he found
Children in the spirit shone.

Following Jesus’ gospel step by step
We remain grounded in eternity.
Knowing that the creator never left
His people without indemnity.

Nourished by the plate of Lord’s Day supper.
Standing upon the rock of faith.
I have no fear of the evil corrupter.
Or any other fearsome wraith.

Sing the Will

Prayers of children and godly men
Pass over the chasm wide.
What matters most is that we leave off sin.
Choose to close the heavenly divide.

Thoughts have the power to change words.
Deeds always manifest shortly thereafter.
So Holy Spirit please sing the will of the Lord
And raise my spirit up to the rafters.

Carry me out from my carnal flesh.
Let me touch the unknown.
Everything your hands touch is blessed.
Touch me, I am bowing at your throne.

The Agreement

We all agree The Lord’s love is great.
That he knows us one and all.
He makes with his hands our fate.
We will trust in him and never fall.

God, lift not your hand from my shoulder.
I will not forget
That your angels pulled away the boulder
After my redemption was set.

One we are, in the body of Christ.
The Lord Jesus showed us the way.
The Father and His Son’s thrones the highest
Truth from the hearts of men are what I hear today.

The Lord’s Embrace

I am gripped within The Lord’s embrace.
His might and mercy lifts me up.
After living so long, a child disgraced.
Fitting so well into a world corrupt.

Now the torch of the Living God
Warms me from within.
Moses cast down his hallowed rod
And I am reconciled from sin.

Give me the wealth of your precious sight
So that eternal joy can be made mine.
The true value greater than any earthly delight.
Like the light of his countenance the sun does shine.

Finding Purpose

Living through a day of night

Ended when I knocked upon his door.

Then down from heaven streamed the holy light

That made a rich man from the poor.

After my bleeding spirit was healed

The pain and agony relieved.

An everlasting covenant was sealed

And God’s true purpose for me believed.

With great hope born of truth

The sun rises to make a new day.

The only fee on the narrow toll both

Is for this loving son to pray.
