First lady Michelle Obama bought several “certified organic” items Thursday, Sept. 17, 2009, at the launch of a new farmers market blocks from the White House.
Can you imagine the carbon footprint it cost to make this photo-op of the meaningless purchase of these items? The shutting down of the area, the bomb sniffing dogs, the security, the special vehicles? Am I the only one that sees a problem with this hypocritical nonsense?
