"You walk into this room at your own risk, because it leads to the future, not a future that will be but one that might be. This is not a new world, it is simply an extension of what began in the old one. It has patterned itself after every dictator who has ever planted the ripping imprint of a boot on the pages of history since the beginning of time. It has refinements, technological advances, and a more sophisticated approach to the destruction of human freedom. But like every one of the super-states that preceded it, it has one iron rule: logic is an enemy and truth is a menace.” ..Rod Serling, intro for “The Obsolete Man.”
This is the way nightmares begin.
Where are the second guessers?
The people of this country are being led mindlessly down the yellow brick road by pied pipers and their loyal minions. I fear what lies ahead for this country. Will it remain a Republican form of government, a representative republic? Will we remain a great capitalist country, the greatest, most blessed country in all of history or will we be led mindlessly into the failed systems of socialism and beyond?
What Nikita Sergeyevich Khrushchev said, "We will bury you," as he pounded his shoe on the podium years ago, is taking place before our very eyes. Our boarders are basically porous, our land is constantly being invaded by people from other countries coming through our southern boarder mixing in with those flooding into our country from Mexico almost totally unabated, our heritage is being dissolved away. Our safety is at enormous risk. The memory of 9/11 seems to have been diminished almost to the point of it having never happened. Where is the outcry? Our politicians are self-serving, our ministers, priests and rabbis say nothing. Our freedoms are being stripped from us one by one, every year we lose more. Every year there are more restrictions imposed. We pay taxes on everything imaginable, we just comply willingly and obey with little or no question like sheep. I remember a war being fought being fought by the colonist over taxes, remember the “Boston Tea Party, December 16, 1773?”
Have you ever just taken the time to reminisce, to think back, way back and took note of what you use to do naturally, what you took for granted, that you can’t do today? If not please set aside some time do so, it will take more then a few minutes. Be prepared to be shocked. What we are easily led into today our forefathers would have taken up arms to prevent.
“Liberty has never come from the government. Liberty has always come from the subjects of the government. The history of government is a history of resistance. The history of liberty is the history of the limitation of government, not the increase of it." --Woodrow Wilson
The kids today have no idea how few freedoms they have left, how much they have been robbed of and what a slippery slope we are all on. The imposed rules and regulations that are added annually, without the consent of the people, are burying us as though one shovel full at a time, filling in an open grave by a tombstone that reads “In Loving Memory of The Once Great and Free USA.”
