The Osama File: Case Closed

Osama bin Laden

Osama bin Laden was killed in Pakistan by Navy SEALs on Sunday and his remains were discarded at sea. The raid was conducted with little input from Pakistan.

Osama's death marks a long-awaited triumph for the United States, but it came much too late and at a very high price. Michael Scheuer, former CIA chief of the team hunting Osama bin Laden, confirmed with great disdain that SpecOps had not one but two opportunities to kill Osama before 9/11, however with Osama in their sights, Bill Clinton pulled the plug on both those operations. Consequently, the 9/11 jihadis settled into U.S. suburbs under Clinton's watch.

The success of this mission elevates the danger of terrorist attack on the continental U.S. because al-Qa'ida must now assert its relevance in the absence of its leader.

Announcing Osama's death, Barack Obama claimed that in the aftermath of 9/11, "no matter what God we prayed to ... we were united as one American family." Horse pucky. There were many instances of Muslims within the U.S. expressing elation over Osama's attack. Even Obama's "pastor" Jeremiah "GD America" Wright claimed, "White America got a wake-up call after 9/11. White America ... came to realize that people of color had not gone away, faded into the woodwork or just disappeared as the great white West kept on its merry way of ignoring black concerns."

Obama took full credit for the kill, saying, "Shortly after taking office, I [made] the killing or capture of bin Laden the top priority." Apparently Obama is under the false impression that killing Osama was a low priority for the Bush administration. Killing Osama has been a top priority since Sept. 12, 2001. Perhaps he will now take full credit for everything else happening on his watch, and stop blaming Bush!

Osama's death is a key victory in the world war against Islamists, albeit a small victory in the Long War against Muslim hatred. Next up, native son of New Mexico Anwar al-Awlaki, Osama's chief lieutenant, also hiding out in Pakistan.

An Argument in Support of the Trump Trend

An Argument in Support of the Trump Trend
By Jack Kerwick, Ph.D. · Friday, April 22, 2011

Latest polls show that if Donald Trump isn't tied with the GOP's presidential contenders, he is ahead of them. Trump is rapidly gaining momentum. For several reasons, those voters who are disenchanted with the Washington politics of both parties should consider contributing to this trend -- assuming, of course, that Trump runs.

First, the legions of Republicans who sat out the elections of '06 and '08 can take comfort from the fact that Donald Trump would be the sole contender for their party's presidential nomination who has explicitly and unequivocally rejected "Bush Republicanism." Trump has even gone so far as to identify Barack Obama's election as President Bush's legacy.

In this regard, he will stand in stark contrast with his competitors. Although every other Republican claims to have learned his lesson from the party's betrayal of its constituents during the last decade, beyond some indeterminate references to "out of control spending," no one has of yet specified any respects in which they will differentiate themselves from their predecessors.

Second, it isn't just Republicans who should be consoled from Trump's willingness to call out the GOP's former standard bearer. "Moderates," "independents," and even disaffected Democrats should derive some satisfaction from this as well. Trump's unabashed eschewal of the "compassionate conservatism" -- that is to say, Big Government philosophy -- of President Bush and his Republican-dominated Congress promises to resonate with non-Republicans. On the other hand, the general and abstract regret over past spending excesses expressed by other Republicans is likely to strike these voters as insincere.

Third, some of what Trump says should appeal to most Americans. While he expresses (at best) skepticism regarding the nation-building enterprise upon which our government has embarked, he insists that if America wages war, it is imperative that it be in its material self-interest to do so: if we have to go into Iraq, say, we had better confiscate its oil supplies in order to compensate ourselves. What this means is that for utopian foreign policy visions of the sort that characterize our generation, Trump hasn't a modicum of sympathy.

Moreover, Trump also thinks that Americans would be better off if some of our soldiers could spend their time contending with dangers, not a world way, but right along our southern border.

Fourth, Trump has legitimized the so-called "birther" phenomenon by drawing some much overdue attention to the mystery that continues to surround Obama's birth certificate. And during an interview with Sean Hannity this past week, he also went some distance toward dismantling the media-created image of Obama the Intellectual by asserting the thesis, compellingly advanced by no one more so than Jack Cashill, that it is actually Bill Ayers who authored Obama's first book. Trump pointed out the dramatic compositional differences between the president's memoirs, and reminded viewers that for all of the talk of Obama's brilliance, we have virtually nothing in the way of scholastic records or scholarship on which to base this assessment.

From a crippling fear of being excoriated by an Obama-friendly media, no other Republican dares to touch upon these topics.

This brings me to the last and, what I take to be, perhaps the most important reason for why Republicans and conservatives should consider supporting Trump.

As has often been said, perception is reality in politics. And in our camera-happy times, style and image matter more than ever. Republican politicians are all too aware of this. They are also aware, painfully aware, of the fact that much of the media upon which they rely is dominated by people who despise their politics. So, to prevent being excoriated, Republicans -- Republican presidential candidates, especially -- are meticulously careful about what they say and how they say it. However, while such caution is understandable, it invariably proves to be an exercise in futility, for the unfair treatment that they dread inexorably comes to fruition.

Trump has no fear of the leftist media. Why should he? From years of being in their spotlight, Trump has mastered the art of manipulating the media to his advantage. Besides this, considering that he has undoubtedly contributed more to the coffers of Democratic politicians than to those of Republicans', there is no way that the usual suspects could so much as hope to portray him as a crazed right-wing extremist. And given his stupendous success, they certainly can't depict him as stupid.

If Trump ever received the GOP's nomination, he would achieve what no Republican, presidential nominee or president, in recent times has been able to achieve: he would win the public relations war. The importance of this can't be overstated.

For the foregoing reasons, then, I hope the Trump trend grows.

The Judas Media

The Judas Media
By Michael Oberndorf, RPA · Tuesday, April 26, 2011

The badly misnomered "mainstream" media have been outdoing themselves lately in their efforts to bring down capitalist America, as the propaganda machine of the neo-fascist left. The notion that they are even aware of mainstream American thought is a Big Lie, in and of itself. The radical leftists whose agenda they push amount to at most 20 percent of Americans, although calling these traitors American is an insult to the rest of us.

Over the past few weeks, the propaganda machine has worked overtime to make it seem like the miniscule and largely symbolic cuts to the Obama-Soetoro/Reid/Pelosi/Soros budget were on par with the Holocaust or the Turkish Armenian genocide. They uncritically parroted every insane, wild charge, every lie, that any wacko Democrat chose to make, and largely suppressed the truth of the cuts and the so-called "compromise" until after the fact, when the damage had been done. Joseph Goebbels must have been smiling in Hell, seeing how well his lessons have been learned by the present generation of "journalists."

Continuing on, the propaganda masters are out to sell Americans another huge lie: that if they don't let the neo-fascists raise the debt ceiling -- again -- the world will end. It appears probable that allowing the Democrats and their running dog Republican allies, i.e., the Republican "leadership" and "moderates," to continue borrowing and spending will pretty much guarantee that the double-dip recession we've been warned about will indeed happen. Though the media are either ignoring it or trying to put a positive spin on it, we, who have to pay for it with middle class wages, are already seeing inflation accelerating at an alarming rate. And what do we get from the media? The radical enviro spin that higher gas prices are getting us to drive less, lowering our phony carbon footprint. And the Obama-Soetoro reaction to $5 a gallon gas? Investigate the people who produce and sell it, rather than change his and the Democrat's policies that have caused the problem in the first place. This "courageous" stance, of course, is trumpeted from the minarets...er...the rooftops by the media, with no mention that if we had been drilling in ANWAR, off California, in the Gulf, and in a zillion other places put off-limits by our phony "environmental" laws, we would not be in this fix.

However, what is reported is not the only sin the neo-fascist propaganda machine is guilty of. What is NOT reported is perhaps even more damaging, since you can't influence or stop what you don't know about. For instance, let's see a show of hands of those out there who were aware of a major economic conference attended by China, Russia, India, Brazil, and South Africa -- representing around half the total population of the world -- that discussed, in depth:

"...reform and improvement of the international monetary system, with a broad-based international reserve currency system providing stability and certainty. We welcome the current discussion about the role of the SDR in the existing international monetary system including the composition of SDR's basket of currencies." (http://www.brasil.gov.br/news/history/2011/04-1/15-1/leaders-of-brazil-russia-india-china-and-south-africa-released-a-joint-document-at-the-brics-leaders-meeting-in-china/newsitem_view?set_language=en)

This a tactful way of saying they are seriously looking at dumping the dollar as the world's reserve currency. And they are not the only ones, but you aren't hearing about the others, either.

Let's have one more show of hands: How many of you have heard about the economic conferences that multi-billionaire, sociopathic America-hater, and head neo-fascist, George Soros is putting on? News of these confabs has been sparse in the conservative media, and virtually non-existent in the "mainstream." As many of you already know, George Soros is a committed, unrepentant fascist who got his start "confiscating" the property and belongings of his fellow Jews during the Nazi domination of Europe. He has publicly stated, "The main obstacle to a stable and just world order is the United States..." He brought down the British pound in 1992, making billions in the process, and appears to be out to do the same with the U.S. dollar. And though the CEO of PBS will be in attendance at the Bretton Wood conference (note the oh-so-symbolic location), has anyone heard even a mention of this? You would think that people planning to foment an unprecedented economic disaster that will destroy the lives of millions of poor and middle class people, all over the world, would be something the ever-so-compassionate-and-caring leftist media would be interested in, but apparently not. It seems that, as always, the ends justify the means, and collateral damage only counts when stopping it will hurt the enemies of fascism.

Much as the "mainstream" media hate Christianity and Christians, they seem to have learned at least a little from the Bible. Their imitation of Judas, and the selling out of those who have nurtured them, and made their freedom possible, is near perfect.
