California Election

San Diego, California Talk Radio Station - 760 KFMB AM - 760kfmb

"As goes California...So goes the nation."

Lord have mercy. We sure hope not.

The Governor and Senate race in California is a testament to all "moderate" Republicans. You know, all those GOP'rs who tout themselves as "middle of the road Republicans."

As the media's reporting: "Fiorina, 56, had targeted the state's independents -- who represent about one in five voters -- as well as centrist Democrats."

You know what happens to those who play in the middle of the road...

The bottom line is... You think California is overrun by big unions now, just wait 'til Jerry Brown takes the reigns.

The unions broke Arnold Schwarzenegger. Now they're going to break the Golden State.

Seriously now, Jerry "Moonbeam" Brown? Couldn't the dems have chosen someone a little more fresh? Someone not so entrenched?! Republicans didn't have much of a choice, sure, but the dems... They recycled a bad product...nearly three decades later!

What an ignorant, politically-challenged state.

California willingly voted for someone with no plan; a terrible old mayor, a retched governor from the 70s and 80s, and someone who openly admitted to lying over and over and over!

States like California make democracy look bad.

After voting in Jerry Brown you'd almost think that saying yes to the marijuana proposition would be a good thing! With higher spending and higher taxes, maybe we should just self-destruct and all get high ourselves. The Golden State is going to hell in a hand-basket anyway.

So, what's to come? Absolute self-destruction or another historical recall? Only time will tell. Until then, we've fallen a long way since the days of California Gov. Ronald Reagan... Even in the conservative bastion of San Diego County, we chose Bob Filner over conservative war hero Nick Popaditch... Susan Davis over Michael Crimmins! WHY?

Masochistic state.
